On July the 14th the Digital Agenda featured the RGS rehabilitation system via its weekly newsletter“ ICT for Ageing Well Newsletter update”.
The Digital Agenda for Europe (DAE) aims to help Europe's citizens and businesses to get the most out of digital technologies. It is the first of seven flagships initiatives under Europe 2020, the EU's strategy to deliver smart sustainable and inclusive growth. Launched in May 2010, the DAE contains 101 actions, grouped around seven priority areas or pillars, which will help to reboot the EU economy and enable Europe's citizens and businesses to get the most out of digital technologies.
Vice-President of the European Commission Neelie Kroes is responsible for the Digital Agenda. RGS System has been featured in a wide-European high-impact newsletter. The publication contributes to our objective to create awareness of what has been achieved so far within the project (i.e. having developed a fully working near market product that helps stroke victims recover better and faster); and last, but not least, to help science based projects like RGS to break the gap between research and the market, in order to reach and help as many patients as possible, not only in Europe but worldwide.
