RGS research team awarded for best paper at the GameDays 2014 conference!

Rehabilitation through gamepaly is a fundamental strategy used by the RGS research team to help patients suffering from stroke to recover from their deficits.

Recent work by the RGS research team on "social integration of stroke patients through gameplay” has been  awarded  for best paper at  “GameDays 2014”, the 4th International Conference on Serious Games in Darmstadt, Germany.  April 1- 4, 2014

The paper  "Social Integration of Stroke Patients through the Multiplayer Rehabilitation Gaming System”, authored by Maier, M., Rubio Ballester, B., Duarte Oller, E., Duff, A. & Verschure, Paul F. M. J.,  was chosen for its scientific contribution to the field of  "rehabilitation through gameplay" and after rigorous review by the “GameDays 2014” programme committee
The paper is published in Games for Training, Education, Health and Sports Lecture Notes in Computer Science Volume 8395, 2014, pp 100-114
